About The Parade

The Fourth Annual Hamptons Pride Parade kicks off Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 12:00pm along East Hampton’s Main Street. Join us for an afternoon of celebration, family fun, and live musical performances by the Bridgehampton Marimba Band, Grand Marshal John Cameron Mitchell (Writer, Director, and Star of “Hedwig & The Angry Inch,” Star of “Shrill” on Hulu) and DJ Watts.

The parade route begins on Main Street by the First Presbyterian Church, proceeding east before turning left onto Newton Lane, followed by a left onto Railroad Avenue and Lumber Lane before ending in Herrick Park. Join us in Herrick Park for live performances by DJ Watts and John Cameron Mitchell, including hits from his multiple-Tony-award-winning rock-musical “Hedwig & The Angry Inch.”

Help us keep Hamptons Pride eco-friendly! We ask attendees to refrain from bringing balloons, confetti, or any paper handouts to the parade, and to pick up after themselves.

Register to March! (Deadline: June 4, 2025)

Join the parade and march with Hamptons Pride down the main streets of East Hampton Village! Registration is free and open to the public. Interested participants must register by Wednesday June 4, 2025.

Frequently Asked Questions

A little bit of rain can’t stop us! The Hamptons Pride Parade is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain, bring your umbrellas and rainboots and splash down Main Street with us!

Yes! We welcome everyone of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

Bottles of water donated by Golden Pear are available in the park for parade participants. We endeavor, but cannot promise, to procure food trucks. (Contact us if you have one and would like to join us!) The parade marches through the heart of East Hampton Village, home to a host of LGBTQ+ friendly local businesses and restaurants, which we strongly encourage you to visit before and after the parade!

Dogs are permitted to spectate with their owners on the sidewalks and accompany them to the park celebration. They must be on leashes at all times. Dogs are not permitted to be in the parade itself, for safety and insurance reasons. The only exceptions are certified service dogs (not therapy or emotional support dogs), or dogs accompanied by registered animal shelter handlers. Service dogs must be registered to march, just as people are, and their owners must provide proof of insurance and indemnify Hamptons Pride by June 4th. Please contact us with any questions.

Hamptons Pride, Inc. is an all-volunteer not-for-profit public charity (tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code) that celebrates and commemorates the LGBTQ+ people and their allies on the East End of Long Island. The organization’s founding goal is the creation of an historical marker and outdoor social area on the footprint of The Swamp (the last and longest-running gay club in the Hamptons) in what is now Wainscott Green, a park in the Town of East Hampton. Hamptons Pride’s free services, including the annual Hamptons Pride Parade on the first Saturday of June, are made possible by the generosity of foundations, businesses, and individuals like you. Thank you!
