Friends, save the date for Hamptons Pride’s display of quilts from the National AIDS Memorial, including those of local loved ones, at the First Presbyterian Church of East Hampton. In all, 67 names will be represented. A weekend of programs will feature a screening of the Oscar-winning documentary Common Threads, an intergenerational discussion of the history and on-going effects of the AIDS epidemic, a quilt making project, and a culminating event with speakers, reflections, and a calling of the names ceremony on Sunday, Dec 1, World AIDS Day.
